I finally got my eyebrow embroidery done after procrastinating for the longest time because I had bad eyebrow embroidery experiences in the past. I did my Deluxe Creative Brows with LA VIDA this time around and I was glad that they weren’t like the shops in Singapore I visited in the past.
Eyebrow embroidery is done on the epidermis layer of the skin with minimum intrusion, so you shouldn’t see any blood in the entire process. However, my previous eyebrow embroidery experiences were bloody and I could see blood on the tissue paper here and there. I am so glad this time there was no blood, but just pigments.

The left side was my eyebrow without any drawing and embroidery.
Numbing cream was applied for a good 30 minutes.
Next, the brow specialist trimmed brows and drew my ideal brow shape for me. I asked for the straight Korean brows instead of those with a high arch.
Finally, the embroidery started after numbing and shaping. Don’t worry it is not painful at all but you can actually hear a little bit of the scraping sound which are the strokes that they are doing on your brows.

1 week later, my brow area started scabbing. This was actually the most torturing part for me, and not the actual embroidery itself. I have to leave the house with my eyebrow peeling like a snake. But this is a normal process for all eyebrow embroidery so do not worry too much about it. There will be a little bit of itchiness on the brow area but it was quite bearable. LA VIDA gave me a tube of soothing cream to apply on the eyebrows, and it came with a little guide on how to apply it.
HOW ARE MY BEAUTIFUL BROWS LOOKING?! I really really love it. Honestly, I can even leave the house without any makeup on now.

For those looking to do eyebrow embroidery, please research carefully on the shops and reading up on eyebrow embroidery reviews online before committing yourself into it. I’m sure you do not want to end up like how I did the when I had my first eyebrow embroidery because it was a nightmare. The beautician cut it too deep and the whole process was bloody. I was even told that the beautician chose the wrong colour pigment for me and it did not suit my skin tone.
Now, I’m confident heading out even without any makeup. Sometimes, when I head out to nearby places, I still had to put on some makeup but now, I can walk around with my bare face since my brows are on point!
I highly recommend LA VIDA’s eyebrow embroidery services at the Bedok branch. Comparing my current eyebrow embroidery experience to my previous one, it is very obvious that LA VIDA is the better one.
